As part of their reaching out to the community, St. Nicholas Church holds a monthly tea afternoon commencing at 3.00pm – 4.30pm in the Village Hall on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. This is a well attended afternoon with tea and delicious home made cakes available. All welcome.
The parishes of All Saints’ Sawtry, St Nicholas Glatton and St Giles Holme with Conington are committed to safeguarding all those who attend the worship and other activities that we offer. We follow the House of Bishops’ Policy (2017), the Diocese of Ely Policy and Procedures (2017) and the Parish Safeguarding handbook (2018). We seek to create a culture where everyone is included, respected, listened to, and taken seriously. We accept the prime duty of care for children and vulnerable adults, and have appointed a safeguarding coordinator to ensure that what we do is informed by up-to-date policies and procedures from local and national authorities.
