Glatton’s New Village Sign

The parish council are please to announce that after many weeks of an empty plinth, our new Glatton village sign has been erected this morning. Pictured at the new sign are three parish councillors, Neil Mundell-Phipps, Paul Williams & Steve Smith With Phil Ward. On behalf of all Glatton residents the parish council would like to thank: Phil Ward, Mik Julien (Artist in Wood) who carved and painted the sign, Geoff G who donated the post and Paul Williams for organising everything. The parish council had many discussions and shared ideas when considering replacing the old and very worn sign and we decided that taking everything into account to create an almost exact replica of the original. We hope you all agree it looks revitalised and stunning.
